Accessibility Statement

At AIA we believe a good website should be accessible to everyone, and we invest to make ours usable and comfortable for people with disabilities as well. The site is built and tested along WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines, which underpin the Israeli standard IS-5568.

Accessibility measures implemented

• Full Hebrew support and RTL direction across all pages.
• Full keyboard navigation: a "skip to main content" link, logical focus order, and a clear focus indicator.
• Proper semantic structure: defined landmarks (header, main, footer), a single H1, and a clear heading hierarchy.
• Accessible forms: labels linked to every field, required field markers, and screen-reader status messages.
• Respect for the reduced-motion system preference (prefers-reduced-motion) — animations and 3D stop automatically.
• Color contrast that meets the required text-to-background ratio.
• Alt descriptions for images, accessible names for buttons, and hiding decorative icons from screen readers.

Accessibility settings menu

In the lower-left corner of every public page you'll find an accessibility settings menu that offers: text enlargement across several steps, high contrast, grayscale, link highlighting, stopping all animations, and switching to a readable font. Your preferences are stored only in your browser. The menu is a supplementary tool — the site itself is built to be accessible.

Known limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing process. Some parts may not yet be fully accessible, and the site hasn't yet undergone external accessibility auditing by a certified body. We continue to test and improve the site on an ongoing basis.
